The official opening of the Cosmopolitan

On 19 September 2014, the first high-rise apartment building Cosmopolitan Twarda 4, designed by a world-renowned architect, Helmut Jahn, was officially opened.

Today’s official opening of the skyscraper Cosmopolitan is the “grand finale” of this unique project – said Michał Borowski, President of the company Tacit Investment. The entire investment process was completed in just 3 years. In May 2010 we began the work, in September 2011 we reached the base state, in December 2012 the raw state, and exactly one year later, in December 2013, we obtained an occupancy permit. The residents’ association has been operating since the 19th of May this year, and the first residents moved into the building in June this year. We have handed over more than 80% of the sold apartments to their owners. I am proud of accomplishing this extremely complex project in such a short time. As a developer, we took up the challenge of not only building a residential tower with a complex structure on a site restricted to the area of the development, but also of finishing all the apartments. It is a unique project on the Polish market where apartments are sold mainly in a shell and core standard. Today I can say that the project has been successful. Cosmopolitan has become an iconic landmark in the panorama of Warsaw and determined a new quality in the capital’s architecture – added Michał Borowski.

The Cosmopolitan skyscraper is 160 meter high has 44 storeys and 236 finished apartments with the area from 54 to 700 square meters. They have been fully finished and perfectly equipped. Oak wood floors, fully furnished kitchens with kitchen cabinets by Alno and kitchen facilities by Miele, bathrooms with high quality ceramics and fittings of the world’s leading producers (Duravit, Dornbracht, Kaldewei, Duscholux), fully equipped dressing rooms and laundry rooms with a washing machine and dryer – prove the highest quality of finishing. All apartments are equipped with the HMS system, which allows to control, among others, window-blinds, lighting, heating and air conditioning via tablet or smartphone.
